Plenty of people would rather face sharks than give a speech, but speaking up is a skill anyone can learn. In Learn to Love Public Speaking, middle schoolers work with a live instructor on a new technique each week, from finding their voice and crafting a message to hooking an audience and owning the stage, then practice each one out loud at home. By the end, your student has a step-by-step way to organize and prepare any speech. Works as well for the student who'd rather hide in the back row as for the one who already loves being heard.
