Nancy
Nancy is a lifelong educator and project management expert with an MBA from Adelphi University and a deep, decades-long commitment to teaching in its many forms — from working with disabled adults and volunteering with young children to serving as an adjunct professor in Master's programs. She is a certified PMI Authorized Training Partner, a Verified Trusted Trainer through Course Conductor, and is certified by Microsoft to teach Microsoft Project and PowerPoint. Nancy earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 1999, passing on her first attempt, and has re-certified every three years since. She has prepared several thousand students for the PMP and CAPM exams, developing her own test-like practice questions that students consistently report mirror the content of their actual exams. She brings a wealth of exercises, tips, and techniques to help students study effectively and pass with confidence. Beyond project management, Nancy tutors in elementary and middle school math and reading, business writing, Microsoft Office, and basic computer literacy. Her enthusiasm for learning is boundless — she has visited over 50 countries and taught in 35 of them, and hopes one day to teach at the university level abroad. She believes that learning expands choices, enriches life, and is something worth paying forward.
The PMP covers a wide range of project management knowledge, and its scenario questions often have more than one answer that sounds right. That's why this live class works through what the exam tests, from scope, schedule and cost to risk, stakeholders and the People domain, with an instructor who has coached thousands of PMP candidates, practicing scenario-style questions together to spot the traps. You'll leave with an exam-day strategy matched to your strengths and gaps. Built for working professionals who want an efficient, focused path to the PMP.
