ABOUT THIS CLASS

SAT Reading and Writing moves through dozens of short passages, and many wrong answers look almost right. That's why this bootcamp focuses on what each question type is really testing: you'll work Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure, Standard English Conventions and Expression of Ideas questions with a live instructor, learning to sidestep trap answers as you go. You'll leave with a strategy for every question category and a pacing plan for both modules. Built for students who want reliable strategies and a stronger verbal score.

SYLLABUS

Information & Ideas Break down the reading questions on argument analysis, central ideas, and data synthesis, with proactive strategies to read efficiently for exactly the information each question needs.

Standard English Conventions & Expression of Ideas Deconstruct the grammar and punctuation rules the SAT emphasizes, choose the right transition between ideas, and tackle "student notes" synthesis questions, with strategies to spot exactly what each question is testing.

Craft & Structure Learn to quickly identify author intent and break passages down into the purpose of each sentence and phrase, so you can answer questions on word choice, text structure, the function of author choices, and how two texts connect.

Reading & Writing Strategy Practice quickly finding the parts of each passage you need, sniffing out and avoiding trap answers, and navigating subtle differences between answer choices.
