Common Core 6th Grade ELA Question of the Day

I arrived at soccer practice early. I tied my cleats. I jogged a few laps. I stretched. I filled my water bottle. I passed the ball. I practiced shooting. I listened to the coach. I tried a hard new drill. I ran the last sprint. I felt tired but happy. I packed my bag and waved goodbye.

Soccer practice was arrived at early by me, and my cleats were tied, and a few laps were jogged to warm up, and my legs and arms were stretched, and my water bottle was filled, and the ball was passed with a teammate.

Arriving early to soccer practice, I tied my cleats and jogged a few laps to warm up. After stretching, I filled my water bottle and passed with a teammate. I practiced shooting at the goal, listened to the coach's instructions, and tried a challenging new drill. For the last sprint, I ran as fast as I could. Tired but happy, I packed my bag and waved goodbye.
