Unlimited Time and Money: How it can assist theater training by Addison - May 2025 Scholarship Essay

If I had unlimited time and money I would use the knowledge of patience, resilience, and organization to develop a program that could provide free theater training to children and young teens that want to one day be successful in the theater business. In my school I was apart of the theater conservatory and in my time there, I realized how much the economical gap between my peers could effect their training, which ultimately effected their opportunities, and created a parallel to their programs post-high school. My solution to this issue was being on a board with a few of my friends that created a scholarship to help lower the costs associated with training, applying, and auditioning for theater, technical theater, and musical theater programs. If I had unlimited time and money, I would create a foundation, and organization that provided theater makers and families of these young artists, that needed financial assistance, all the resources they needed in order to have the best economical situation to help their child succeed. This help could range from free vocal lessons to giving their parents a new car to provide transportation, to a house with enough space for their child to record pre-screens needed to be submitted for theater BFA programs.
