As a high school senior with aspirations to pursue a career in medicine, I have encountered several challenging academic experiences that have tested my resilience and determination. One experience that stands out was during my junior year, when I took on the challenge of enrolling in an Advanced Placement (AP) Biology course. This course was known for its rigorous curriculum and high expectations, and I knew it would be a significant step towards my goal of studying medicine at the University of Houston or Rice University. However, I underestimated just how demanding it would be.

From the very first week, I realized that AP Biology was unlike any other class I had taken. The sheer volume of material, coupled with the intricate details of biological processes, was overwhelming.
