I am Grateful for My Private School Education by Anthony - November 2020 Scholarship Essay

My whole life I have attended a private school. I've never known anything else except private school. When I was younger I never really understood what was so good about private school but as a senior looking back I realized just how blessed I really was. Throughout private school, I have had the privilege to receive higher education and better teachers. I've had the privilege to sit-down with my instructors and get engaging information that most students would never receive.

The private school experience has allowed me to stretch my wings and research all types of fields such as Sports, Technology, and History. I am eternally grateful for the private school experience. Without it, I would never have discovered my love for engineering and science. Private school has given me opportunities in community service, dual credit, AP classes, and great clubs. These opportunities help form who I am today and allowed me to become the student I want to be.

Most educational experiences are dull and lackluster. But private education has allowed me to love education and knowledge. And without a great private school education, I highly doubt I would be where I am now. That's why I'm extremely grateful for my private school education.
