One particular semester stood out as especially difficult. I was taking a precalculus class that seemed to be miles ahead of anything I had encountered before. The pace was fast, and the concepts were abstract and complex. Every night, I would spend hours trying to make sense of my notes and the textbook, but I still felt lost. My grades began to slip, and I started to doubt my ability to succeed in the class.

I knew I had to do something different if I wanted to turn things around. The first step I took was to reach out for help. I approached my math teacher after class one day and explained my struggles.
