Have you ever had to sit through a boring, uninteresting, monotone presentation? Did you want to fall asleep, let your mind wander, and completely lose all interest in what you were supposed to be learning?

I think we all can say we have experienced that at one time or another! Teachers, please, make learning exciting and interesting. If you are engaging and make the class fun in an educational manner, the students would be happier, more willing to learn, participate and actually want to come to class. From personal experience, I can honestly say that the best teacher/professor I’ve ever had is one that teacher’s an online class. Weird…right? That’s what I thought, but she is so engaging, makes me laugh in her recorded lectures, and even though the class is tough, it is FUN!

Not only would you feel better about your career choice, but you would see the positive reaction of students who enjoy listening to you, learning from you, and looking up to you as a positive role model. It’s fine if you need to occasionally be strict, we understand! Just don’t make your class a dreaded thing. Learning is fun, so lets do this together and enjoy!

It takes a special person to be able to be a teacher and for that I thank you!
