Choosing a major is a crucial decision in one's academic journey, as it shapes career prospects and personal growth. For me, the decision to pursue healthcare as my major was strongly influenced by various personal experiences. One of the significant personal experiences that led me to choose healthcare as my major was the battle with a chronic illness that my sibling faced (extreme Atopic Dermatitis). Witnessing their journey offered me a unique perspective on the healthcare system and the incredible impact healthcare professionals can have on patients' lives. Observing the tireless efforts of doctors, nurses, and therapists who strived to alleviate my sibling's suffering not only sparked my interest but awakened in me a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of others, just as they did.
