Throughout high school, I have had many amazing and outstanding teachers, however, there is one in particular who has greatly impacted me and my peers. This teacher specializes in history and goes above and beyond not only in his classroom but also through his kind and cheerful personality. He makes it his priority to help his students to understand his lectures and diverse topics. Before I had him as a teacher, I had greatly struggled with history because of lack of attention. But ever since I walked in his sophomore Integrated History 2 class, I have learned to love discovering the history of not only America, but also around the world. From topics such as American developments all the way to WWII and the Holocaust. His teaching style is very intriguing and leaves me on the edge of my seat with interesting stories and fun activities. He also teaches Junior Seminar which helps prepare his students for graduating and handling their financial situation when they become adults. Additionally he relates to the students with his own experiences throughout his journey as a young adult and what he was taught by his teachers. These are a few of the many reasons why he has impacted me throughout my high school education.
