If I were to have an unlimited amount of money and time to create a positive impact on the world? I'd create dental clinics to help underserved communities. As someone who grew up in a low income immigrant household, I understand the challenges traditionally underserved communities face. I’ve personally experienced how the Hispanic community avoids seeking health care until they are in unbearable pain due to the lack of insurance, language barriers, and minimal health education. If I were to have an unlimited amount of money I'd want to start clinics to help these communities. In addition, I'd try to provide more funds to dental institutions to increase the amount of student intake. This would include raising the faculty and staff ratio along with their curriculum. I'd install courses with the latest AI to help diagnose oral health issues in addition to finding newer treatment plans. With the unlimited amount of money I'd also help improve the type of dental instruments and products. I'd provide money for researchers to help create long lasting dental products for fillings, root canals, crowns, etc. As a dentist with an unlimited amount of money, I’ll be able to help the community by improving patients' oral health, confidence, and their oral education all while following my passion.
