Unlimited Good: A Vision for Helping the World by Hallie - May 2025 Scholarship Essay

If I had unlimited time and money, I would help to create a positive impact on the world by helping those in need. I would help abandoned animals, homeless people, and create a safe space for people who have been mistreated. I would use my knowledge from my entrepreneurship, digital design, and computer science classes to help achieve these goals.    

One of the things I would do with unlimited money is create multiple animal sanctuaries for both wild and domestic animals. I would help any animals that are abandoned, recovering from medical treatment, or those who have had rough lives. I would make sure that they have access to everything that they need, from food and toys to medical treatments. I would also hold adoption events for pets and make sure that they are given to loving and caring families.

Another thing that I would do is help homeless people by setting up food pantries and donating different items. These food pantries will have fresh and nutritious food that is easily available to anyone who needs it. I would partner with local farms and restaurants to help aid my cause and to set up these pantries. In addition to setting up food pantries, I would give away clothes, hygiene products, medicine, and more to help those in need. 

Furthermore, I would help people who have been mistreated or who have had a rough past. I would set up centers where they would have access to different resources such as counseling, medical treatment, legal support, and so on. I would try to establish a safe and comforting environment that would allow individuals to rebuild their lives and regain their confidence. 

I can use what I have learned and the skills that I have acquired from my digital design, computer science, and entrepreneurship classes to create this positive change. I can create and manage the multiple centers that I have mentioned above with what I have learned from my entrepreneurship class. Then, I can spread the word about what I’m trying to accomplish, important information, and volunteering events. I would do this with what I have learned in my Digital Design classes to create advertisements using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. In addition to these, I could make a simple website with the coding languages I’ve learned, such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, from my computer science classes. With this, I would build an online platform where people can sign up to volunteer, donate supplies, have access to different resources, and become notified about upcoming events. By combining what I have learned in school about technology,
creativity, and marketing, I could make these ideas a reality with unlimited time and money.
