My Greatest School Accomplishment by Jayden - December 2016 Scholarship Essay

My name is Jayden Westland. I currently reside in the town of Pleasanton, Nebraska. I attend Pleasanton Public High School. I am very active in my Community and in my School. I participate in Football, Basketball, Golf, FBLA, Student Council, and in my local Youth Group. Through these many activities I have accomplished numerous things, but perhaps in my opinion my greatest accomplishment is maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Achieving and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average comes with several challenges and sacrifices. Many of these challenges and sacrifices include, or are related to, the compromise of my "free time". This can often times result in me becoming drowsy or stressed. These challenges and sacrifices are definitely less than desirable, but my wonderful family and wonderful friends help me overcome the obstacles
My family and friends definitely play a crucial role on how I can achieve my goals. They always motivate me to do the best I can regardless of what the outcome may be. They motivate me in times that I am stressed, and they cheer me up when I feel down. Without them as my support system I wouldn't have been able to accomplish what I have done.
In conclusion, Achieving and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average is difficult but possible with the help of my amazing family and friends. From achieving my goals to being surrounded by friends and family, I wouldn't change this for the world.
