Education is the foundation of every person on this planet. As a student, citizens are given many opportunities to become what they dream. I believe that a person can do anything if he or she has a diploma from an educational institution, whether that be a high school or a college. When most people think of education, they think of success.
In the past, education has been used as child-care when parents moved off of farms. Now, it prepares children for the competitive nature of the workforce. The form of education has evolved over time, from tablets of paper and chalkboards to electronic tablets and dry-erase boards. As a current high school senior, I have had the opportunity of seeing paper textbooks transform to virtual courses and educational resources.
Over the next 50 years, I predict that education will transform to something greater and provide incoming students with resources that will help them succeed and achieve their dreams. Technology will begin to play an even bigger role in how students receive their education. Those who already have their education will aid in this process and create things that they wish would have been available to them during their school days. Education is the platform of success and will continue to strive to be that platform for many people in the best ways.
