I am thankful for a lot about my education. I was fortunate enough to get accepted into the number one school in DC. I attend school without walls high school. It is a selective high school that not many people get into. To get into the school I had to have a certain GPA and I had to take a test to get in. My school is a college preparatory school. There is a lot of freedom and space. The setting in school is actual college like. We are allowed to wear normal clothes in our allowed phones.
I am very thankful for the school that I attend. Within my school we are allowed to take many courses that many people aren’t. We also are allowed to pick which classes we want to take. I like the fact that my education is within my control. We take the courses that are required but still have an opinion. There are choices for languages, electives, and honors courses. We decide whether or not we want to challenge ourselves or not. We also get pick things to prepare for our future careers. Therefore, when having power within my education I enjoy it more!
