This school year has been pretty tough for me. I am coming into my freshman year of college already having junior standing because I have my associates degree. It left me in a very weird spot socially as well as academically, but the people around me have brought me up as I have done for them. they constantly inspire me and keep me going when I start to lose focus.

Bridgewater really helped me realize how blessed I was to go to college in the first place. I can without a doubt say that this experience, no matter how short, is going to shape me into a new person, a better person, and I have the people around me to thank for it. I haven't told them how special they are to me but the time will come when I will and I know I will keep their friendship with me for life. The reason my friendships are the most surprising source for me is because I normally have a hard time connecting to multiple people at once. In the past I have found one person who I felt comfortable with and kept with them, but being in such a new environment has changed that.
I have found exactly what I need in all parts of these people and I don't see that changing anytime soon. They constantly check in, support me, and help me feel better when I'm down. they are the inspiration for my artwork and the first people I go to for advice when I have any issues. And all of what they do for me I do for them which is the most heartwarming thing to me. In other, more simpler terms, they fill my glass and I fill theirs.
