experience, I think back to my high school years, where a lot of my learning happened outside the classroom as much as inside it. School was never easy for me, and I believe my GPA reflects that struggle. But it is also a reminder of how far I have come and what I have learned about myself along the way.

One of the biggest academic challenges I faced was staying motivated when my grades were not where I wanted them to be. I have always been more of a hands-on learner, and traditional classroom settings did not always match my learning style. This was especially true in subjects like math and science, where I often found myself lost and frustrated. I remember sitting in class, watching my classmates breeze through equations and experiments while I struggled to keep up. It was disheartening, and there were times when I felt like giving up.

But deep down, I knew that giving up was not an option. I realized that I needed to find a way to make learning work for me. So, I started by reaching out for help. I talked to my teachers and explained my struggles. I asked for extra help and stayed after school for tutoring sessions. I also found study groups with classmates who understood the material better than I did. They were patient and willing to explain things in different ways until I understood.

Another strategy I used was to connect what I was learning to real-world applications. For example, I would relate math problems to things I was passionate about, like beauty and cosmetology. I would think about how geometry and measurements are essential when designing hairstyles or mixing colors. This helped me see the value in what I was learning and made it more interesting and relevant to my future goals.

I also learned to be patient with myself and to celebrate small victories. Every time I understood a concept or improved on a test, I took it as a win. These small successes built my confidence and motivated me to keep pushing forward.

In addition to academic challenges, I also learned a lot about time management and prioritizing my responsibilities. Balancing schoolwork with my interests in cosmetology was not always easy, but it taught me how to organize my time better. I created a schedule that allowed me to focus on my studies while also dedicating time to my passion for beauty.

Through these experiences, I discovered that I am resilient and capable of overcoming challenges, even when they seem overwhelming.
