I am a morning person by Raylyn - January 2019 Scholarship Essay

I consider myself to be both a night owl and a morning bird. I do better in the mornings when it comes to school and work; however, I am in the best mood at night. I am one of those people that need a lot of sleep in order to have a good day, so going to sleep early is best for my over all health. The only thing about that is, ten o'clock at night is when I have the most fun. I get to the point where I cannot stop laughing, and all I want to do is hang out with my friends. Staying up late is what I enjoy. It gives me the time to talk to my friends and family.
All of my classes are in the mornings, and I work the morning shift at Chick-fil-a. I do my best work when a fresh day is before me; before something bad happens, where all I want to do is lay in bed and cry. That is why I have the most fun at night with my friends, because they get me out of that depressed state of mind and get me smiling. So, when people ask me whether or not I am a morning or a night person, I go on to tell them I am both.
