Academic Goal by Richard - August 2022 Scholarship Essay

Having a passion for cyber security causes me to push myself to the highest level of significance that I have set out for myself. My passion comes from the sense of protecting the lives of others and ensuring that everyone's personal information is secured and protected. I have aspirations to assist people by adopting the best security practices and security-aware behaviors to implement.

I plan to graduate from Towson University with a 3.8 GPA or higher while also acquiring a tremendous comprehension of cybersecurity and networking concepts that will benefit me in future interviews and furthermore in the work environment, and to study and procure more technical certifications. I am currently on the verge of acquiring as much work experience as possible to build up my resume and possibly be accessible for more job positions in the future. I have two semesters left at the University of Towson and I will utilize this time to complete all the necessary steps needed to ensure the level of significance I have set out to accomplish. I see myself utilizing my education to instill an improvement in the realm of cyber security by incorporating and constructing different mechanisms to prevent fraud, theft, and the assortment of intellectual property.
