Education is something that is really close to my heart. I believe that education is the real foundation of people, education also makes someone who they are. In other words, the education that someone has can influence their opinions and outlook on things. Education is what makes you successful and success is based on knowledge and information you gain. Something that a lot of people get confused with is that education is not just what you learned off worksheets in class and reading books, but in my opinion, education can come with experiences that you can learn from daily.
Education is something that is always important to my family, with my mom being a teacher of over 30 years, she has helped a lot of students get a proper education. Teachers may have one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs. However, teaching may not be for everyone, but there are some people that I know who want to enter this profession and I could not imagine a job that could fit them better. Something that she has always taught me that being educated is what will make you successful.
What is wrong with our world today is that a lot of people are uneducated. I completely understand why people have different opinions on everything but being miseducated is something that is sadly really common in the United States. When people share what they believe, it can tend to change other people’s opinions. A good example of this would be with medicine.
The definition of education to me is applying the knowledge from inside the classroom and outside to everyday life situations. I believe that education is the foundation for everyone. The education we have defines us for who we are. Everyone is different and so is everyone's education that they have. This is what education means to me.
