In the table above, what is chosen as the children's favorite color most often?

To find out what is the most popular color, look at the "Favorite Color" column and count how often each color is chosen by the children. Since white is chosen by two children (Enrique and Harry), white is the correct answer choice!

Each time the recipe increases by 1 dozen, the sugar increases by 1.5 cups. To find the answer, simply add 1.5 cups to the last number in the column (4.5 cups).

How many legs do four ants have in total?
This box in the table is a question mark, so we will need to use other parts of the table to find the answer.
Use the first row in the table to see that each ant has six legs.
Multiply the number of ants by the number of legs per ant :
4 ants have 24 legs.
Another way to solve is to add the legs of four ants, knowing that each ant has six legs.

Since a dozen equals 12 eggs, the "Total Number of Eggs" column is increasing by 12 each time. Therefore 2 dozen eggs is equivalent to 24 eggs.
