As I enter my senior year of high school I start to think about all the teachers I've had and the impact they have all had on my life, but one teacher in particular stands out to me. We met in my 6th grade English and instantly we connected she was unlike any other teacher I have eve had. She made me feel seen,and she took the time to actually get to know me as a person rather than treating me like just another student. We became really close, and her class became like a safe space for me she was always there for me. Her positive energy and consideration for me and my feelings made her an amazing teacher to me. I was fortunate enough to have her my 7th and 8th grade year and even though we were in quarantine she continued to be a light in such a dark time. She not only helped me see the value in myself, but she made me a better student. She pushed me to be a better version of myself.Everything I did was to make her proud. Even though I have graduated middle school ,and have had many other English teachers she has always been my favorite, and I continue to do my best even though I don't have her anymore. She has helped me in more ways than I could of ever helped her, and for that I am internally grateful for her.
