Throughout high school, I have faced many academic challenges, but one experience stands out as particularly transformative. During my junior year, I took on the challenge of Advanced Placement (AP) Physics. I was excited to dive into a subject that combined my interest in mechanical engineering with complex problem-solving. However, I quickly realized that the course was far more demanding than I had anticipated.

From the start, AP Physics presented a steep learning curve. Concepts like kinematics, dynamics, and electromagnetism were completely new to me, and the mathematical rigor required was intense. I found myself struggling to keep up with the pace of the class. My confidence wavered as I received lower grades on tests than I was accustomed to, and I began to doubt my ability to succeed in the course.

The turning point came after a particularly challenging unit on rotational motion. I had spent hours studying for the test, but when the results came back, I had barely passed. It was a wake-up call that I needed to change my approach if I wanted to succeed.
