A mentor that has helped me better and further my education is my writing teach, Mrs. Hamric. She has impacted my education experience because before this year I was not the biggest fan of writing in any type of way. As this class started I began to enjoy writing more and more. I think the biggest reason for this is because she allows us to be free of what we are writing about while still being able to be professional and learn the details in writing and how to become better at it. Not only did she allow us to write very freely but in times where I would have troubles and would not know how to write something or could not think of something to write about, she was always very good at helping with problems or getting over writing blocks when I couldn’t think of what to talk about. She does a very good job when it comes to something that I did wrong or something I could’ve done better, it feels like everytime she helps she doesn’t make it seem like you are wrong but just that whatever you wrote just needs an improvement and explains what I can do to better my writing.
