Just like any other student I have easily faced some time of academic challenge throughout my high school career. My story might be a little different from others because just a year and two ago in my (freshman and sophomore year) of high school I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life after high school, so I kind of just didn't care about school at all and decided that everything will play out eventually. Along with those actions I took I wasn't getting the best grades in the world, turning things in late and for half credit thinking as long as I don't fail I'm good, I would soon find out that this was all wrong. About a quarter into my Junior year I started to figure out what I wanted to do with my life after school and figure everything out. I wanted to go to college and become a physical therapist, and I knew this was no small task for someone like me. So I decided to turn my old habits away and start trying more than ever. The next quarter I was seeing huge improvement in not only just my grades but my mental state as well. Not having the stress to do all that missing work was gone and everything I imagined happening was really happening all because I put on the brakes and turned in a completely different direction to achieve my goals and be where I am at today.
