In my opinion, the purpose of an education is to learn about the world, yourself, and the people around you. Education is, as the saying goes, “the key that opens many doors”. Education is a window of opportunity to anyone and everyone. I believe that everyone deserves to have the chance of learning and that no matter whom you may be or where you come from that you can be anyone that you want to be with the wisdom of education. The possibilities are endless and your dreams are reachable through education.

For example, how you can learn about the world is that you can be taught about the many different cultures, languages, and customs of the world; which can give you the key expertise to traveling and meeting new people, as well as making new friends. At my community college I learned so much about the world in my humanities and art classes and I loved learning each day. I really love to learn and I want to continue learning and sharing my world with other people, hopefully I can travel on day as well. At the university that I will attend I will finally have the chance to learn new languages properly and to help other people in the community, both of which are things that I have wanted to do for a long time.

And I have learned a lot about myself through education and I hope to learn so much more. Also, I want to learn not just more about myself, but about the people around me too. I live in a small town so this means that everybody knows everyone and we all still go to school together even at community college. But if I’m given the chance I want to learn about people who I don’t know and to see things that I don’t normally see. There is so much to do and so much to learn, and I want to experience it. Education has always been a rewarding experience for me and I hope that through the education that I receive that I can help someone else someday as well.

Education can be the key to life, and if used properly can completely change a person and I believe that anyone can have this key. So in my opinion, education is the key to learning about the world, yourself, and the people around you, which in turn is the key to life.
