For I know the Plans I have for you...... by Kyndal - February 2014 Scholarship Essay

Jeremiah 29:11-13For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

This verse has always been a favorite of my mom, however it has become one of my life verses.
High school is a time of fun but also a time where you have to start thinking about what you are going to do with your life after high school. It also is time where you have to make choices on what your values and morals are going to be and you are going to have to make decisions and sometimes stand alone on thses choices and decisions.

This verse says that God knows the plans he has for me. These plans are not to make me fail in life but to give me hope and a future. This verse says if I will call upon him and really pray to him he will listen to me. If I want to know what his plans are for my future I will have to seek his will for my life and this is done in prayer, seeking wise Godly counsel from the adults in my life.

So this verse has made an impact on praying for my future endevaors and will always be a verse that will give me hope.
