As we all know there are certain courses in college that just get you. Or maybe for most school just comes easy, but I can tell you from my experience, school is definitely a struggle for me. I decided to go into a career that is not easy by any means but I knew that it would make me a better person by challenging myself to become better then I am. I started my anatomy course this semester knowing it was one of the hardest courses you can take in college but continued to have faith. I got my first exam score back and let me tell you there were many tears and call to my dad that is a doctor. I told him my life was over and I was not becoming a doctor, in that moment my dad was more disappointed that I was giving up then that I did bad on a test. He told me that if I truly want this I would continue to work hard and never give up, and that grades can be good and grade can be bad but they do not define me as a person. I continued after that test to put my everything into this subject. I got my results for my next exam and it went up by 18 from the last exam. I was thrilled and happy that the work I put in meant something and it showed. I continue to exile in my lecture grades while my lab was not doing great. By the end, today our last final came and we got ou results for the 4 exam and I got the high in the 4th and the final I got an 89 which is very good in anatomy. My final grade is a little discouraging because of the low grades in the beginning of the semester but I’m looking at it as a win because of how far I came. I’m proud of myself and what I can achieve, and that is something in school that altered my brain
