As a freshman at the University of Texas-Arlington, pursuing a major in Mechanical Engineering, I faced a challenging academic experience that tested my perseverance and adaptability. Coming from a high school environment where I was able to manage my time and assignments with relative ease, transitioning to college was a significant shift. One particular challenge stood out during my first semester: my Introduction to Mechanical Engineering course.

This course was designed to lay the foundation for future engineering classes, and it was known for its demanding workload and rigorous standards. I was excited at first, eager to dive into the world of engineering, but I quickly realized that the pace and depth of the material were far more intense than anything I had encountered before. The lectures were packed with complex concepts, and the assignments required a level of critical thinking and problem-solving that I was not entirely prepared for.
