As a junior at Miami Dade College, Kendall Campus, majoring in Architecture, I have had my fair share of challenging academic experiences. One that stands out is the rigorous design studio course I took last year. This course was notorious for its demanding workload and high expectations, and it tested my abilities in ways I had not anticipated.

The challenge began with our first major project: designing a community center that could serve as a cultural hub. The task was to create a space that was not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sustainable. As someone who is passionate about architecture, I was excited about the opportunity to apply what I had learned in my previous courses. However, I soon realized that the project was more complex than I had imagined.

The first hurdle was the sheer volume of research required. I needed to understand the community's needs, local building codes, and sustainable design principles. It was overwhelming at first, and I found myself struggling to manage my time effectively.
